If you think about it, we know far too many people with incredible ideas, who just haven’t gone all the way. My friend Andy dreams of opening a gourmet hot dog spot. A coaching client launched a start-up with massive potential, but still needs a team to build it.
Another client shared something I’ve said to myself: “What if another year passes and all I’ve done is pay the bills?” Whether it’s launching your cooking hobby, or next book. Large or small, all it takes is perseverance.
I’m launching a podcast about perseverance. This is for creators, founders, and anyone building meaningful work in a world on fire.
Here’s why:
So many of us struggle with pushing on. We get lit up about something new. Something we know will impact the world. And somewhere in “the long middle,” we shift gears or quit. I’ve done it. You’ve probably done it too.
We need to explore what makes all the difference. What keeps people going when excitement peters, realities creep in, and the world keeps serving up reasons to walk away?
So I’m interviewing people I deeply respect. Giants in their fields who’ve navigated the long middle and came out the other side. Each episode: one story, one lesson that might save you years. They’ll be about 30 minutes.

The Spiritual Practice of Perseverance
At times, our divisive world can make us wonder why bother. But here’s what I know: your purpose burns inside you like a pilot light you’ve left on since you were a kid. The noise and disruption around us? That’s the fuel to share your medicine with a world that desperately needs it.
Others have overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. You are, and will be no different.
The title comes from the second verse of Neil Diamond’s 2005 banger “Hell Yeah.” Neil sings: I hear you wondering out loud, are you ever gonna make it? Will you ever work it out, will you ever take a chance? And just believe you can?
Hell Yeah, You Will.
